My uncle, Alphonse F. Trezza,
88, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009.
He was Professor Emeritus at FSU School of Library and Information Studies and recipient of the ALA Lifetime Achievement Award, Joseph W. Lippincott Award, and Doctorate of Humane Letters (Honoris Causa), Rosary College, River Forest, Ill. He was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran and was awarded an Air Medal and clusters.

He and his wife had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2005 by renewing their marriage vows.
