We went out to dinner Friday, sort of an advance celebration of our anniversary and Mother's Day. Dinner chez nous on Saturday, london broil, teryaki shrimp and shrimp and scallops marinated in a chardonnay garlic sauce. Yes, I sauteed food, and no kitchen fire! Smoke alarm didn't even go off...
Kept it low key today, avoiding the Mother's Day restaurant hysteria.
