Mary would like to call him Buster or Bobby Doggy, Bruce’s choice is Thor. Everyone has a suggestion, we will see what happens!

 

Bizarre occurrence

 

Driving from our house to my parent’s house, I heard something hit the car. i thought it was debris, didn’t see anything, though it sounded like it bounced off the body of the car.

i asked Mary is she saw anything, she said no.

When we arrived, and got out of the car, Mary noticed it, said, oh, look!!  We both stepped back and said yuk, or wow or ewwww, or something.  My brother opened the hood and poked the grill with a stick to dislodge the bird. He then grabbed hold of the wing and the body and extracted the dead bird from the grill work. Blehhh.

He did have surgical gloves on.  Usually in the OR, he justs puts people to sleep, but I guess those med school surgical rotations paid off after all.  No way I would have touched it.

Of course, he did wave it in my direction before dumping it in the trash.

Mary’s Daddy made these pancakes, and Mary ate them, or at least she ate the icing, and a few bites of pancake. She only eats scrambled eggs, so the hardboiled version got a big yuk!

late afternoon cloud drama at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. They had rides for the kids, lots of craft vendors and lots of fattening food. The sculpture in the photos is part of the outdoor stations of the cross .

I really like the expressions of Mary here. Had to post the photos, even though I have more chins than a Chinese phone book in the second picture. I was holding the camera at arm’s length and taking our photo, while waiting for our dinners to be served.

 

(note: we specialize in politically incorrect humor here, at princess, inc.). The ‘chin’ joke was one I heard from Joan Rivers doing stand up, years and years ago.
