This past Monday, Mary had 2 of her 4 cavities filled. She was as she herself stated, BRAVE, and a real trooper!

Here are the during and after photos. Also a few of M. wearing an interesting pajama combo, which, incidentally, is not the same pajamas that she had on when we put her to bed! This is a new past time of hers, changing her pajama choice after lights out.Why, because she can!

Monique and I and two little princesses went visiting, a spontaneous neighborhood playdate took place!
Mary, aka jie jie, and Ava, aka mei mei (big sister and little sister, respectively) had a great time!

The costume for the upcoming ballet recital

The Ballet recital, a necessary evil, and perhaps the biggest scheme to separate you from your $$$.

Dance classes, $130 quarterly,

Recital costume, $65,

Recital fee, $55,

Photo of child in recital costume, at least $30,

Flowers for child on recital day, market price,

Potential need to bribe said child with a toy if she refuses to wear the costume on recital day,$ to be determined,

Seeing your child and the 4 other girls in her class all dancing to their own beat, priceless !

Ok, so it's not Frederik Fekkai, but Mary enjoyed the hair cut experience. For some reason, she was very animated and funny this time!

Valentine's Day dinner at Japanese restaurant

we were going to go to olive garden, but it was too crowded. Fuji was $$$$ but yum!

We had a post ballet class tantrum in the food store. It involved the hooded jacket she is wearing. She threw it on the floor in the store and sprinted from the front to the back of the store, yelling and screaming! Not that sweet little girl?! Hah. Food store mission was completed, but not without major drama!

Lunar New Year Party

We attended our agency's Lunar New Year party. It was scheduled earlier in the month, and many of the families we traveled with were unable to attend. There was also a football game involving some team called the Eagles that may have lowered the attendance rate.

Anyway, Mary was dancing up a storm there, rockin the house and doing her trademark gymnastic move.

I love this photo of the dancers, with just the tops of the heads of 7 little girls. Very cool, to me!
