Wacky Wednesday Poses

It took a lot of bargaining, deal making and 'if/then' statements to get Mary to pose for these 3 photos.

I had some bargaining chips, and I was not afraid to use them. One was ice cream. M*aggie Moos was supposed to be offering a free scoop of ice cream to customers, as part of a tax day promotion.

The local franchise's manager said, when we walked in, that corporate was offering that, not them. So I said someting about deceptive practices and stated that we were going to Coldstone.

Once we got to Coldstone, there were 3 other groups of customers that had walked out of Maggie M*oos to buy from Coldstone. They were told that the promo ran only until 1 p.m , and it was 1:02 p.m when the woman finally came out of the back room and told them this. She didnt mention anything about a time constraint to me.

Anyway, we had our ice cream, did a bit of food shopping and went home to get changed for M's dance class.

E. Bunny revisited

Friday fashion fotos and fotos with the Ether Bunny

Mary and the "Ether" Bunny (as my fav anesthesiologist and brother calls him when speaking to his younger patients). Bad dr. jokes, hee hee.

At a local restaurant, the bunny suited dude was there, and they had a craft table where kids could make Easter themed bookmarks or decorate Easter baskets.

After running up to the bunny many times, Mary declared, "he's not a real bunny, he goes back and takes off his head", (gestured to indicate this). Ha, well that didnt take long. Maybe it was because she heard him talking to another customer, whom he seemed to know. Also, she noticed said bunny was wearing sneakers... i said it was becasue he was a 'city' bunny.The big center seam and obvious zipper up the back of costume was , I am sure, noticed. But she had a good time, fake bunny and all!

We managed to try on 3 dresses, somehow, amidst silly, mini pout, passive aggressive and borderline tantrum modes...

A spontaneous dinner out with the maternal grandparents

Our little waitress will ask you "what you like to order?", and then say, I don't have that, I have strawberry shortcake.

Salmon with a 'sauce veronique', excellent, supposedly a light cream sauce, but it was so much more, almonds, halved red grapes, some kind of citrus-y thing going on , yum!

This happened while I was doing the post-dinner quick fix clean up.

And these are from last Wednesday, an artsy 'playdate' with Mary and Grandmom creating. Good art won't match your sofa!

Mary was dressed for ballet class, as we were leaving from 'Grandmere's' to go to class. She is wearing her tap shoes. The upcoming recital should be a hoot, since all the girls seem to be twirling in different directions during the class. I do see progress, just hope they don't all freeze up on stage.

First Tatoo

And on this day, Mary applied several tatoos to herself, and then started on a one girl path to destroy everything in her sight or reach. At least she held the scissors down at her side, as previously instructed...

Practicing for American Idol

We are getting some pretty good mileage from this $10 keyboard from CVS. It gets used much more than its pink n purple disney princess counterpart.
